Job summary

FLSmidth seeks a Global Inventory Analyst to support the SIOP process by consolidating demand and inventory data across regions. You will ensure forecasts, visibility, and actionable insights balance service levels, cost and working capital.

You will work with regional planners, supply chain, finance and commercial teams to align demand and supply, collect forecasts, monitor inventory, and maintain data integrity in ERP systems (D365, Oracle, Epicor).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, economics or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning or analytics.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
• Familiarity with ERP/planning systems such as D365, Oracle or Epicor.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate and consolidate demand forecasts from regional and local markets.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, demand trends and planning assumptions; identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor global inventory levels and highlight slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Prepare and distribute SIOP reports and dashboards for global/regional reviews.
• Conduct what-if analyses and scenario modeling to support decisions.
• Maintain data integrity in planning tools and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to align demand planning, supply planning and finance.

The Global Inventory Analyst (APAC) will support the global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by consolidating, analyzing, and reporting demand and inventory data across multiple regions.This role ensures accurate forecasts, inventory visibility, and actionable insights that help balance service levels, cost, and working capital.
