Job summary

Arriva Wakefield is looking for a PCV Bus Driver to join our depot team. You’ll drive buses on scheduled routes, help passengers, and contribute to a safe, friendly travel experience for our community.

Starting pay ranges £14.00–£16.00 per hour with probation and progressive rate changes based on PCV experience. Overtime, training, and career opportunities are available, with shift patterns rotating across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• PCV licence holder with up to 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive PCV bus on scheduled routes and ensure passenger safety.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service to passengers.
• Complete pre/post-shift checks and report issues as needed.
