Job summary

Arriva is hiring a PCV Bus Driver at the Shrewsbury depot. You will drive buses to transport commuters, students and shoppers, while delivering excellent customer service and building community connections. Shifts run across 5–6 days with early mornings and early evenings, with overtime opportunities and training provided.

Rate is £14.45 per hour, with rotations and part-time options available. Benefits include staff travel, discounts, pension, and career progression within Arriva.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Hold your PCV licence (if you don't, please apply to the Trainee role and we can give you all the paid training you need)
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test
• Great people and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Drive PCV bus and transport passengers on local routes.
• Assist customers with boarding and provide helpful service.
• Follow rotating shift patterns and meet scheduled times.
• Maintain safety and report incidents as required.
