Job summary

Arriva's Harlow depot is seeking a PCV Bus Driver to join our team. You will drive buses on rotating shifts, delivering reliable transport to commuters, shoppers and students on familiar routes.

We offer competitive hourly pay and opportunities for progression, CPC training, and a pension plan. Great customer service and a flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Holding a PCV licence with no more than 6 points on your licence.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive PCV buses on assigned routes to timetable and safety standards.
• Provide safe, friendly passenger service and handle customer needs on board.

PCV Bus Driver

£16.85 - £17.85 per hour

As a Bus Driver, you will get to know the familiar faces on your routes, build relationships and even be the highlight of someone's day.

Pay Rate: £16.85 - £17.85 per hour

• Base Pay: £16.85 per hour


• Overtime - £17.85 Per Hour

Pay rates reviewed via frequent pay negotiations.

Hours of work:

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts.


• Mornings can start from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis.


• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately.


• Overtime available at request / availability.

Requirements:

• Must be over 18 years of age


• Hold your PCV licence (if you don't, please apply to the Trainee role and we can give you all the paid training you need)


• No more than 6 points on your licence


• Can pass a drug and alcohol test


• Great people and customer service skills


• Flexibility to work shifts
