Job summary

Arriva in Colchester is seeking a PCV Bus Driver to join our depot team. You will operate the local routes, interact with customers and help keep communities connected.

The role is shift-based, including early mornings, evenings and weekends; training and development are provided, with progression opportunities within Arriva. A genuine commitment to safe, friendly service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PCV licence.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• You must be over 18.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Drug and alcohol tests are required at the driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on scheduled routes and ensure passenger safety.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every trip.
• Work shift-based hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Perform routine safety checks and follow on-board procedures.
