Job description

We are looking to recruit a full-time, enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacy technician to join our team and work for North East Ipswich Primary Care Network (PCN) on a full or part-time basis.

You will be joining an established team of pharmacists/technicians and clerks to deliver our medicine management program of work, including structured medication reviews for all our patients.

As part of the role you'll be supported in completing the primary care education pathway with CPPE.

Main duties of the job

To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualified and registered pharmacy technician with a Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
  • Professional registration with GPhC.
  • Experience working as a qualified, registered pharmacy technician in primary care, community or hospital pharmacy.
  • Confident in the use of electronic record systems and spreadsheets.
  • Evidence of a consistent pattern of learning from education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a good clinical knowledge base.
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions.
