A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham seeks a dynamic and motivated nurse to join the Paediatric Critical Care team. This Band 7 role involves leading a nursing team, coordinating care for critically ill children, and supporting clinical governance. Candidates must hold a valid RSCN or RN Child qualification and have substantial experience in Paediatric Critical Care. There is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated nurse to join the Paediatric Critical Care senior leadership team in a permanent position.
We are a 14-bed Paediatric Critical Care Unit comprising 8 Level 3 beds and 6 Level 2 beds. We care for children across a wide range of specialties and work closely with the Children’s Medical Emergency Transport (CoMET) service for the East Midlands region. We are supported by the Paediatric Critical Care Education Team and collaborate with Nottingham University, providing learning opportunities for postgraduate nurses.
The post is 34.5 hours per week. Part-time hours are considered with a minimum of 28.45 hours (equating to 10 shifts per month). The clinical band 7 role includes clinical coverage across the full range of shifts and an operational component with a 6–8 week rota for core hours.
