Job overview
This role involves working closely with the Senior Patient Safety Advisor, Patient Safety Manager, Head of Clinical Governance, and Deputy Chief Medical Officers to identify and manage incidents, participate in weekly meetings, and consider learning response options under the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF). The appointee will collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to ensure systems support a culture of open reporting and investigation. Responsibilities include supporting divisional governance teams, developing and delivering training, and reviewing learning outcomes to identify systemic issues and prevent reoccurrences. The post-holder will work under the guidance of the Senior Patient Safety Advisor.
