Job summary

Connect Appointments in Dalgety Bay is seeking a Production Operator to join our client's production team. You will perform functional testing of High Level and PCBA assemblies and report to the Production Supervisor.

The role is full-time, Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm, paid weekly at £12.71 per hour. Applicants should have experience in assembly or functional testing, with a good eye for detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality, including IPC 610 workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or functional testing (ideally including PCBA)
• Good attention to detail and understanding of quality standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Production Supervisor
• Achieving test targets for throughput and quality
• Performing functional testing of High Level and PCBA assemblies
• Following provided specifications and standard operating procedures
• Using test equipment (familiarity is an advantage but not essential)
• Maintaining Health & Safety standards
• Operating equipment and machinery - only if trained and authorised
• Preserving product quality and complying with manufacturing standards, including planning documentation, work instructions, and IPC 610 workmanship standards
• Working efficiently to reduce waste and supporting continuous improvement
• Raising any safety, quality, or environmental concerns with your Manager
