Job summary

Holt Engineering in Wareham is recruiting a Trainee PCB Tester to join a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided and the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The role involves operating automated testing machinery to test PCBs, running machine-based test cycles, monitoring results and faults, and following set procedures to maintain quality standards.

You will also support the wider production team as needed.

Qualifications

• Interest in electronics or manufacturing.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Willing to learn to operate machinery and follow technical instructions.
• Reliable with a positive attitude toward work.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated testing machinery to test PCBs.
• Run machine-based test cycles to check board functionality.
• Monitor results and identify faults flagged by testing equipment.
• Follow set procedures to maintain quality standards.
• Support the wider production team when required.
