Job summary

STI Limited is seeking an experienced PCB Repair Technician in Hook, Hampshire. You will repair and modify customer-returned PCBs to IPC Class 3 standards, employing BGA rework and X-ray inspection to assure quality.

You’ll follow written instructions, inspect to IPC-A-610 Class 3, liaise with customers, and may work offsite at client sites. A strong focus on quality and 5S discipline is essential to deliver top-tier products.

Qualifications

• Repair and modification of customer-returned PCBs to IPC Class 3 quality.
• Follow written work instructions and IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 as directed.
• Inspect PCBs to IPC-A-610 Class 3 to ensure product quality.
• Utilise X-ray inspection to verify assemblies meet standards.
• Liaise with internal and external customers to meet requirements.
• Occasionally work offsite at customer premises to complete projects.
• Adhere to 5S activities and other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and modify customer-returned PCBs to IPC Class 3 quality.
• Assemble to customer specifications using written instructions.
• Inspect PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 3 for quality.
• X-ray inspect built assemblies to ensure quality.
• Liaise with customers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Travel to customer sites as required to complete projects.
• Follow 5S practices and perform other duties as needed.
