The key requirement is: Anyone with PCB/FPGA/ASIC design experience in the satellite/space/aerospace domain.

The role

1. Responsible for multilayer PCB designing (up to 30 layers) for space and Satcom payload applications.
2. Experience in board and design techniques for space and satellite PCB designs.
3. In-depth knowledge of layout design, DFM/DFA procedures, and PCB qualification processes for Satcom applications.
4. Experience in IPC standard package symbol creation in Allegro & Expedition.
5. Advanced knowledge of constraints and the use of the constraint manager, including net, pin pair, and combination-net (Xnets) length matching.
6. Experience in power supply, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, with expertise in Satcom payload-specific interface designs.
7. Experience in CAM setup, Gerber generation, and Gerber checking.
8. Ability to supply a full set of deliverables for PCB fabrication and assembly.
9. Expertise in HDI technologies such as micro vias, stacked vias, via-in-pad, and back drill.
10. Knowledge of memory technologies like DDR, QDR SRAM, RDRAM, SDRAM, and bus/interface standards such as CPRI, XAUI, PCI, PCI-X, SATA, USB.
11. Good academic credentials and a solid background in PCB layout design, with hands-on experience.
12. Experience with PCB manufacturing, DFA, and DFT requirements.
13. Experience with PCB design tools such as Allegro, OrCAD Capture CIS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner, PADS, CadStar, Board Station RE, HyperLynx, Valor, and CAM350.
