As a PCB Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and creating new PCB designs for an extensive product portfolio. You will work closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Mechanical teams to ensure that all designs meet industry standards and are optimised for manufacturing and assembly. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating and revising schematic and PCB designs using Altium Designer or equivalent software.
  2. Developing and managing PCB Assembly Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  3. Interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  4. Collaborating with engineers, customers, and suppliers to refine designs.
  5. Ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., EMC, LVD, BS/ISO).
  6. Maintaining an organized library of PCB and schematic footprints.
  7. Contributing to design reviews by offering practical solutions to challenges.

We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Design Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and eager to take on exciting design challenges. Proficiency in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design software (Altium preferred) is vital to succeed in this role. Experience taking designs from concept to prototype and final assembly is required, along with strong knowledge of electronic design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
