Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a General Operator for on-site PCB assembly/manufacturing in Bolton on a 12-month contract. Location: Bolton (On-site). Hours: 37 per week. Rate: £25.38 p/h Umbrella, rising to £26.70 p/h Umbrella after week 12. Clearance: BPSS required, UK Eyes Only.

The role involves carrying out standard assembly activities, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting workflow within the manufacturing area. IPC-610 preferred.

Qualifications

• PCB assembly experience.
• Strong manual dexterity for fine work.
• Ability to read and interpret layouts.
• Able to follow instructions accurately.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• PC literate.
• Willing to work flexible shift patterns.
• IPC-610 certified/trained (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed standard assembly / manufacturing activities in line with defined procedures.
• Complete work to required quality standards, safety requirements, and timescales.
• Support the efficient movement of work and information within the manufacturing area.
• Adhere to agreed standards and behaviours at all times.
• Comply with all health & safety requirements.
