Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking multiple Electronic PCB Assembly Operators for a 6-month fixed-term role in the production team. The position may transition to permanent after 5-6 months for the right candidate, with a starting salary of £24,800 rising to £25,100 after probation.

Hours are Mon-Thu 7:00–15:45 and Fri 7:00–11:30. Key duties include assembling products with hand tools, testing to spec, recording data on works orders, and maintaining quality.

We are seeking multiple Electronic PCB Assembly Operators to join our production team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent position. This role is integral to the manufacture of high-quality products for the meteorological and commercial weather measurement markets. • Contract Type: 6-month fixed term (potential for temp-to-perm) There is also the possibility of the position becoming permanent after 5 months for the right candidate.
• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 3:45 pm; Friday, 7:00 am - 11:30 am
• Starting Salary: £24,800 (increasing to £25,100 upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period)

Responsibilities

As an Assembly Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the production of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling products using hand tools and assembly jigs.
