Job Title: PCB Assembler
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
Actio Recruitment is seeking a skilled PCB Assembler to join our client's electronics manufacturing team based near Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established company, assembling high-quality electronic products for a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) to company and industry standards.
2. Solder components (through-hole and surface mount) using both manual and automated processes.
3. Inspect and test assembled PCBs for defects, ensuring quality control.
4. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
5. Work with a variety of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors.
6. Identify and rectify assembly faults, reworking PCBs when necessary.
7. Follow health and safety regulations in the workplace.
8. Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Key Requirements:

1. Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
2. Proficiency in soldering techniques (both hand and wave soldering).
3. Ability to work with fine-pitch components and follow precise instructions.
4. Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (desirable but not essential).
5. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
