DESCRIPTION
The Global Project Management Office team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader for our Project Office for Engineering Services. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects by providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Coordinate with a team of Project Managers and engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals, and ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.
Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects, and provide timely solutions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing project management processes and procedures.
Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in engineering services to drive innovation and excellence.
Position includes international travel up to 25%.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Experience in program or project management.
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
Experience defining and executing program requirements.
Experience with Automated technology for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Robotics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Experience leading process improvements.
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
