Job Description:
The Global Project Management Office team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader for our Project Office for Engineering Services. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects by providing strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement program management strategies to achieve project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Coordinate with a team of Project Managers and engineers, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor project performance and take corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple projects, providing timely solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing project management processes and procedures.
- Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in engineering services to drive innovation and excellence.
- Position includes international travel up to 25%.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
- Experience in program or project management.
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
- Experience defining and executing program requirements.
- Experience with Automated technology for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Robotics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience leading process improvements.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
