Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop.
  • Manage Goods In & Out processes.
  • Carry out repairs on all EPOS and IT equipment.
  • Maintain and update the stock database.
  • Stage equipment in preparation for installations.
  • Provide on-site support to the engineering team and clients.

Skills

Hands-on experience working with PCs, EPOS systems, and IT hardware
Confident in repairing and staging a wide range of IT and EPOS equipment
Able to manage workshop operations, including stock control and database maintenance
Capable of providing on-site support to field engineers and clients

Job Description:

PC/IT Workshop Engineer | Hertfordshire | Full Time | Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm | Up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is a nationwide IT support organisation established in 1988, working in partnership with manufacturers, software houses, and system integrators. We offer our clients a structured “break-fix” service along with engineering resources for installations and rollouts.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of PC and PC-based EPOS equipment, including the latest technologies such as back-office systems, networking, LAN/WAN configuration, receipt and laser printers, as well as routers and switches.

Are you the right person for the job?
