A fast-growing supplier of IT equipment is seeking an Operative in Bury. In this role, you will assemble PCs and laptops, manage IT equipment, and support warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for IT, proven experience in hardware assembly, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Join our dynamic team to make a real difference.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and build PCs and laptops from assorted components.
  • Book in IT equipment and carry out secure data wipes.
  • Perform minor repairs and hardware upgrades.
  • Support general warehouse operations including order picking and stock management.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation in the workspace.
  • Participate in stock counts and quality inspections.

Skills

Strong passion for IT and computer hardware
Proven experience assembling and testing PCs/laptops
Familiarity with MS Office applications
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Experience in the electronics sector
Comfortable with warehouse management systems
Previous warehouse work experience
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
