We are currently seeking three PBS Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, which may include learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, communication differences, and ongoing physical health conditions. Some individuals may also have a forensic background. Working under the supervision of a Team Leader, you will help deliver high-quality support to improve their day-to-day living and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team supporting individuals with complex presentations.
  • Provide day-to-day support, assisting with independent living and promoting well-being.
  • Record observations and escalate concerns where necessary.
  • Use a person-centred, strengths-based, and psychologically informed approach.
  • Support individuals with communication differences and emotional regulation.
  • Promote engagement in activities that improve quality of life.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for those receiving care.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, or forensic backgrounds.
  • Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support individuals with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and support planning.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in Social Care, Psychology, Mental Health Support, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
