At Ambitious about Autism, we are currently looking for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Specialist to join our team.
As a PBS Specialist, you will be passionate about improving the quality of life for autistic children and young people with additional learning needs. You will provide specialist behavioural assessments and interventions to children and young people (CYP) at TreeHouse School. Your role involves direct assessment and intervention, as well as indirect assessment and monitoring with class teams, with a fluid caseload prioritized by the needs of the cohort.
You will collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to help them understand challenging behaviors and teach functional replacements to reduce risks and increase access to education and future opportunities. All work will adhere to PBS principles and be person-centered.
