Job summary

Bright Software Group seeks a experienced Payroll Specialist and Tutor to join the education team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality payroll training, supporting learners across qualifications, and contributing to content and thought leadership within the Payroll Centre.

The position is home-based with regular travel across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will be a credible subject‑matter expert with strong UK payroll legislation knowledge and the ability to develop others

Qualifications

Recent and substantial hands-on payroll experience.
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and practical impact.
Proven ability to deliver presentations and training to diverse learners.
Experience delivering training across face-to-face, online, and webinars.
Excellent written communication for training materials and content.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging payroll training sessions virtually and face-to-face.
Assess and support learners across qualifications programmes, marking assignments and giving feedback.
Contribute to design of training content, learning objectives, and materials.
Support the Act programme through assessment, client consultation and content adaptation.
Produce thought leadership content and updates for members.
