Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is looking for an experienced Payroll Implementation Manager to lead their payroll transformation, migrating from IRIS Payrite to Workday Payroll. The role is based at Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent, with a 12-month FTC and hybrid working.

You will coordinate payroll processes, data migration, testing and stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth go-live and ongoing continuity. You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance and IT to deliver on-time, within-scope payroll

Qualifications

• Proven payroll implementation or payroll transformation experience.
• Experience delivering payroll system implementations.
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge.
• Knowledge of UK statutory payroll legislation.
• Experience of payroll testing, reconciliation and data migration.
• Experience managing complex projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing project documentation, RAID logs and status reporting.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the Payroll workstream within the Workday implementation programme.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules and critical paths.
• Coordinate payroll workshops, design sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee payroll data cleansing, migration and validation activities.
• Own the end-to-end payroll testing strategy and sign-off processes.
• Manage governance, reporting and readiness for go-live and hypercare.
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance and IT.
