The Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting payroll compliance operations for the EMEA region. This includes addressing payroll tax queries, providing operational and client escalation support, conducting in-depth research to facilitate global expansion projects, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will have robust payroll knowledge, preferably across multiple countries, and demonstrate the ability to research and interpret payroll regulations in various jurisdictions. Hands-on payroll processing experience is a valuable asset.

What you'll do:

Regulatory Compliance and Research

Collaborate with the Payroll Compliance team and other internal divisions to understand and document country-specific payroll compliance requirements.

Conduct research to support global expansion projects and ensure compliance with local payroll tax laws across the EMEA region.

Compile and maintain country-specific payroll knowledge bases and compliance blueprints.

Operational Support

Provide guidance on general payroll tax queries and compliance matters within the EMEA region.

Support client escalations by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions.

Assist in drafting and reviewing compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Communicate with internal teams, external partners to gather and disseminate payroll compliance information.

Educate product and development teams on country-specific payroll requirements and best practices.

Support the development and maintenance of legislative specifications for multiple jurisdictions within the region.

Provide insights and guidance to internal teams to ensure continuous compliance awareness and upskilling.

Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent compliance certification.

4+ years of Payroll Tax compliance experience, with demonstrated expertise in payroll regulations for at least two EMEA countries.

Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, HR policies, and payroll compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.

Proven ability to lead and manage complex payroll compliance projects with cross-functional teams.

Skills and Competencies

Hands-on experience with payroll processing is a strong advantage.

Excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Scrum/Agile methodologies for managing tasks and priorities.

Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and align diverse stakeholders.

Ability to independently navigate and interpret legislative changes.
