Job summary

Torbay Council is seeking a Systems Development Officer (Payroll) to join a small development team responsible for payroll and HR system enhancements. The role focuses on implementing new functionality, testing, and driving improvements across the payroll and related systems.

You will work on cloud-based payroll workflows (ResourceLink) and Power BI initiatives, ensuring efficient operation and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High level IT literacy, data analysis and interpretation are essential.
• Ability to problem solve to reach resolution of issues.
• Ability to influence to reach desired outcomes.
• Ability to train and support colleagues and customers in using systems to ensure knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities
