Sharp Consultancy is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a small, capable Payroll team. You will work with the Payroll Manager to ensure accurate, timely salary processing across multiple sites.

Key duties include managing starters and leavers, coordinating with a 3rd party provider, ensuring legal compliance and data protection, and mentoring payroll staff while supporting audits and month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within the care home sector.
• Experience supervising and mentoring payroll staff.
• Experience managing outsourced payroll services.

Responsibilities

• Manage the collation and submission of multiple payrolls across sites.
• Act as liaison with 3rd party provider.
• Coordinate payroll cut-offs and approvals with home managers.
