GWR is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the payroll team, delivering accurate and timely payroll across GWR and Heathrow Express. You will process high volumes, respond to queries, and produce payroll reports in a busy, multi-entity environment.
The role is a fixed-term contract for 18 months, part-time (21.5 hours per week) based in Bristol, with weekend/bank holiday work as required. You will play a key part in ensuring compliant payroll delivery and excellent customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing high volumes of payroll data, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. You will also provide day-to-day support to customers, respond to payroll-related queries, and produce payroll reports where required.
This is a varied position that requires flexibility and the ability to work across multiple payroll entities. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of payroll accuracy, compliance, and service delivery. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract (FTC) position, working part-time hours of 21.5 hours per week.
Based in central Bristol, the Payroll team is responsible for delivering weekly and four-weekly payroll services for both GWR and Heathrow Express.
The team manages all payroll and pension-related data, ensuring payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently. In addition to payroll processing, the team provides expert support to employees and external organisations, helping to resolve queries and deliver an excellent customer experience.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will contribute to a service that is essential to the day-to-day operation of the business, ensuring our colleagues are paid accurately and receive the support they need.
Theteam are currently based in a modern office space in central Bristol.
Therewill be a requirement to work occasional weekends and Bank holidays to ensure payrolls are delivered on time.
