Job description

About us

Loungers is a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector, operating over c300 sites in England and Wales across three distinct but complementary brands, Lounges, Cosy Club, and Brightside. Founded in 2002 by three friends who wanted to create a neighbourhood caf-bar that they would want to go to, the Group is now the only growing all-day operator of scale in the UK and has consistently outperformed the wider UK hospitality sector over the past three years. Despite being the fastest growing caf/restaurant group in the Country, Loungers has retained its entrepreneurial spirit and quirky 'Loungey' local community atmosphere.

  • Maintain records to ensure that all queries and requests relevant for the payroll are completed.
  • Build relationships with site staff and operations managers, dealing with queries and providing them with clear and coherent advice.
  • Work with the People team to make sure that there are no gaps in process or duplication, so that the Payroll and People team can work together to service the sites and the business.
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with end-of-year reporting tasks and various reports & surveys throughout the year.
  • Covering the Payroll Manager when needed by running the end-to-end payroll process.
