Payroll Supervisor Role

As the Payroll Supervisor, you will handle end-to-end payroll duties and related queries using software such as Moneysoft, Xero, and Sage. Your responsibilities include processing weekly and monthly payrolls, uploading payslips, and monitoring a central inbox.

Additional duties include:

  1. Liaising with clients to accurately process their payrolls
  2. Calculating and uploading pensions
  3. Processing new starters, leavers, and changes to personal details
  4. Maintaining client files and responding to queries within pre-agreed deadlines
  5. Processing all paperwork, including printing and posting payslips and P45s as per client requirements
  6. Setting up new clients, including data validation, system parameter implementation, loading YTD data, and checking PAYE/NI/Pension calculations
  7. Performing other ad hoc duties

To qualify for this Payroll Admin role, candidates should have at least 18 months of experience in a payroll position, preferably within an internal payroll bureau or accountancy practice.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in managed service environments
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience with accountancy software (e.g., Sage, Xero) is preferable
