Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Payroll Specialist for an 18 month fixed term contract to join a leading logistics and transportation organisation in the Stafford area. The role covers end-to-end payroll, starters, and adjustments, with weekly and monthly payroll handling.

You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, using SAP/ADP/Workday payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll reconciliations while maintaining strong relationships with external bodies and providers.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience with starters, leavers, and adjustments.
• Experience managing monthly and weekly payrolls ensuring statutory compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and accuracy; strong prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end payroll processing including starters, leavers, adjustments, and statutory payments.
• Oversee monthly and weekly payroll processing and reconciliations.
• Respond to employee and stakeholder enquiries promptly.
• Maintain controls and improve payroll processes.
• Liaise with external bodies and third-party providers.
