Page Personnel is working with a Professional Services business based in Newcastle Under Lyme, recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join their team.

Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for assisting with the timely and efficient production of monthly payroll.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Processing of starters and leavers
• Making appropriate salary adjustments
• Processing Statutory Payments
• Amendment of personal details
• Processing of overtime payments
• Ensuring that actions associated with payroll are compliant with legislation and company policy
• Dealing with queries and helping to resolve issues

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

- Have knowledge of working in a similar role - Essential

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential

- Have strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel - Essential
