Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a career-driven Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic in-house payroll team. This role offers the chance to develop and expand your existing skillset within a team that provides clear progression routes. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play an integral role in ensuring staff are compensated accurately and on time. Your keen attention to detail and passion for numbers will be key in maintaining the integrity and compliance of our payroll system.

What you'll do:
  1. Provide a positive, personal, responsive, and efficient service to all stakeholders
  2. Act as a subject matter expert on UK Payroll
  3. Manage the entire end-to-end payroll process for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  4. Provide a fast route to query resolution and deal with queries in person and via case management system
  5. Liaise with HR to ensure all employee information is up-to-date and accurately reflected in the payroll system
  6. Prepare and submit payroll reports and documents
  7. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices, implementing necessary adjustments to our processes
