Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of monthly payrolls in collaboration with payroll providers, adhering to established processes. Your duties will include handling key payroll functions such as starters, leavers, absences, statutory payments (SSP, SMP), pensions, and other adjustments, while delivering accurate and efficient payroll services.

You will manage payroll queries professionally through the Query Management System and produce detailed reports, including payroll control checks, MI packs, and management updates. Additionally, you will liaise with the finance team for reconciliations and ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

Maintaining communication with stakeholders to provide updates on payroll activities and upcoming changes is essential. You will work with HMRC, third-party providers, and international colleagues to manage statutory requirements and harmonize processes. Supporting the development of payroll systems, implementing legislative changes, and driving process improvements are also key aspects of this role. You will assist with ad-hoc projects and provide support to the wider payroll team as needed.
