A payroll services provider in London seeks a Payroll Specialist to support the payroll team. You will handle monthly payroll processes, address payroll queries, and manage various payroll-related tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with multiple payrolls and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation is preferred. This position offers a salary between £40,000-£45,000.

Qualifications

  • Experience working on multiple payrolls including various frequencies.
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets.

Job Overview

You will be a key part of the payroll team assisting with processing in house monthly payrolls.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Working within a small team processing an in-house monthly payroll from start to finish.
  • Dealing with various payroll queries
  • Inputting starters/leavers, holiday pay etc
  • Performing ad-hoc payroll calculations
  • Running HR, Finance, and Payroll reports
Essential Skills and Competencies
  • Experience working on multiple payrolls including various frequencies
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders
  • High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
  • Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies
  • Experience working on a UK in house payroll
  • Experience using multiple payroll platforms
  • A fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislation
  • Experience with Moorepay is highly desirable but not essential.

Experience with excel and spreadsheets
