Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee payroll processes and manage third-party provider (Phase 3)
2. Check, re-check and resolve payroll errors and discrepancies
3. Handle employee payroll queries confidently and independently
4. Generate reports using Excel (advanced skills required)
5. Collaborate with HR and Finance stakeholders
6. Use of SAGE HR system

Profile

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience processing payroll for 500+ UK employees
2. Proven experience working with third-party payroll providers
3. Strong understanding of UK tax, benefits, and deductions
4. Confident handling payroll queries in a standalone capacity
5. Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting
6. Immediate availability through end of May
7. Able to commute to Harrogate for initial onboarding (first week only)
8. Flexible or remote working available for the right candidate
