Summary

The Payroll Product Specialist will launch payroll products in new countries, ensure compliance with local tax legislation, and lead the implementation process. You will collaborate with the country compliance team, local experts, product team and architects to ensure product delivery is aligned with country specific requirements for the following countries

Responsibilities

Lead payroll product launches in new countries, ensuring compliance and successful delivery.

Review advisory packs and lead discussions to clarify legislative compliance.

Collaborate with Payroll BAs to define and document functional and legislative requirements.

Identify and escalate any new system needs for country-specific payroll.

Oversee task delivery, address delays, and ensure timely project completion.

Work with teams to create specifications and development tickets for payroll calculations and features.

Ensure product meets country-specific requirements and resolve any compliance issues.

Partner with BAs and QA to ensure builds meet legislative standards.

Document country build configurations and create training materials.

Lead post-deployment meetings to ensure smooth handover to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll configuration, including back-end configuration and programming language calculations (preferred).

Experience working with cross-functional teams and analyzing Advisory information.

Strong understanding of payroll elements, codes, and formulas, with experience configuring pay elements, statutory rates, and country-specific fields.

Experience with report writing tools is a plus.

Knowledge of country-specific legislative requirements.
