Job summary

A global payroll solutions provider is seeking a Payroll Operations Country (or Regional) Senior Specialist to join their Payroll team. In this fully remote position, you will manage payroll implementations and ensure compliance with local legislation. The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Operations Country (or Regional) Senior Specialist, joining our Payroll team.

Requirements
  • Experience processing payrolls in a client payroll environment.
  • Payroll implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and statutory compliance for your country or region.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge in using local payroll tools and software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • Experience in accounting/reconciliations.
  • Is a productivity geek and will constantly think of ways to improve and speed up their work.
  • It’s not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
Key responsibilities
  • Independently manage the end-to-end implementation of smaller and less complex client payrolls.
  • Support senior implementation team members with data preparation, validation, and reconciliation for more complex implementations.
  • Conduct test payroll runs, reconciliations, and validation checks to ensure accuracy before go-live.
  • Build and maintain a solid understanding of payroll legislation and best practices for the specified country/region.
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery in collaboration with the Implementation team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for simpler payroll implementations, and support senior leads in stakeholder communication and coordination for larger or more complex projects.
  • Assist in implementing standardized payroll processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after the implementation to resolve any issues or challenges.
  • Have a focus on KPIs and SLAs.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, automation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Ability to mentor and support payroll specialists.
  • Working with internal teams to improve our platform, completing UAT testing through to shipping. Ensuring all changes are documented.

The annual salary range for this full‑time position is

$81,500 – $91,650 USD
