Description
We're looking for an innovative Payroll Officer with a unique combination of skills who wants to play a major role in tackling climate change.
You'll be joining our motivated People & Culture (P&C) team to help deliver a great service to the organisation and you will report to the Compensation & Benefits Manager.

How you'll contribute
- Handle international payroll for multiple European and international countries, together with our global payroll provider;
- Ensure payroll is prepared in a timely manner to enable employees to receive their pay on time;
- Explain employment conditions via induction sessions and answer staff payroll-related questions;
- Prepare and follow up on recurrent or event-linked administrative documentation and tasks for employees (maternity leave, parental leave, contract extension or termination);
- Prepare month-end payroll reporting and reconciliations;
- Liaise with P&C Partners & Line Managers in order to ensure that all relevant documentation is received and processed relating to New Starters, Leavers and any other contractual changes;
- Attend relevant learning and development events to keep up to date with legislation and processes related to payroll administration;
- Ensure accurate payroll transactions and payments;
- Resolve payroll issues;
- Work closely with Finance and other departments;
- Ensure a proper filing and archiving of employees employment information and documentation (social documents, contracts, absences...).
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Our ideal candidate has- At least 3 years experience in international payroll
- Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language; additional languages are an asset.
- A genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change.
- The disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community of peers.
- The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
