Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week on a permanent contract. This position is based at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role offers a competitive salary on the support pay scale, Grade K, ranging from £22,695.20 up to £24,433.63 (full-time equivalent: £36,763 up to £39,579), which is dependent on experience and qualifications
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive payroll service. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accuracy in payroll processes, such as pensions, absence calculations, and processing time and expense claims. You'll liaise with staff, managers, HR team, and pension providers, handling and organising payroll data to ensure it is both reliable and efficiently managed. Additionally, you'll assist the payroll manager in developing payroll policies and systems, contributing to projects such as software enhancements, and ensuring all procedures are followed within set deadlines.
