Description: JOB TITLE: Payroll Specialist
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000
HOURS: Full Time - Permanent
STRUCTURE: Hybrid - 4 days office
LOCATION: London


JGA are partnered with a well-established and industry-recognised hospitality company, seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team.

Your application will only be considered if you have Hospitality payroll & Tronc experience

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complete end-to-end monthly payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure all updates to salaries and tronc allocations are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Prepare, maintain, and analyse tronc-related notes and spreadsheets.
  • Support end-of-period payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Process court orders and apply the appropriate deductions in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee holidays and absences, ensuring proper payroll integration.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience as Payroll Officer/ Assistant or similar role in hospitality.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations and compliance standards.
  • Essential understanding of HR policies and processes related to Payroll.
  • Great attention to detail and able to maintain high level of accuracy in their work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
