About the company:

A global leader with nearly 3,000 employees across 16 countries, including over 800 in the UK. Committed to excellence, they are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:

The Payroll Officer will manage the company's bi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payments. You will handle the end-to-end payroll process with guidance from the Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll Management: Oversee accurate calculation and payment of payroll and statutory payments.
  2. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and PAYE legislation.
  3. Data Accuracy: Monitor and ensure correct time and attendance data transfer to HR systems.
  4. Payments: Ensure timely payments to HMRC and third-party providers.
  5. Employee Queries: Resolve payroll-related employee queries promptly.
  6. Support: Assist with producing P45s, P60s, P11Ds, and payroll projects.
  7. Pensions Administration: Manage pension scheme administration, including deductions and auto-enrolment.
  8. Systems Management: Support SAP payroll changes and maintain data with SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience: Managing monthly and hourly payrolls, preferably with SuccessFactors and SAP.
  • Knowledge: UK tax rules and pensions obligations.
  • Attention to Detail: Essential meticulousness.
  • Certification: CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or higher preferred.
