We re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage the end-to-end payroll process for a busy and dynamic organisation. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for accuracy and compliance. If you re confident working with payroll systems, liaising with HR and Finance teams, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, we d love to hear from you.

The Role

You ll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services across the organisation.

  • Process monthly payroll and reconcile data
  • Maintain payroll systems and ensure compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
  • Handle employee queries and statutory payments
  • Support audits and reporting requirements
  • Drive process improvements and system upgrades
The Successful Candidate

You ll bring a strong foundation in payroll and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience managing payroll processes and systems
  • Confident using Excel and analysing complex data
  • Knowledge of statutory payments and pension schemes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
