A leading company is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll function. This role involves managing a team and ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation, along with offering competitive salary and benefits including holidays and a pension scheme. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience with payroll systems.
We are looking to hire a Payroll Manager to take full responsibility for our Payroll function, which is run on MHR I-Trent software.
We operate several monthly (salary) and fortnightly payrolls across the Group.
The Payroll Manager will manage a team of 6 employees across Payroll & CIS Subcontractors Payrolls. Other functions include managing expenses and business mileage administration and onboarding new starters onto our systems.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge and understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements, including PAYE, deductions, and HMRC rules. They should be adept at problem-solving, investigating and diagnosing issues, and implementing improvements. Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems are required.
