Job description

We are currently recruiting a payroll manager to join our client in Lisburn.

6 months initially with possibility of extension.

£19.59 per hour.

Immediate starts.

Public sector client.

Job Duties:
  1. Responsible for management of the Payroll Services Team and systems.
  2. Ensuring timely processing of payroll.
  3. Manage and coordinate a training programme for any new starts.
  4. Perform monthly payroll reconciliation.
  5. Data analysing.
  6. Development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  7. Review and authorise payments.
  8. Handling sensitive personal data, following GDPR.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Have a degree of qualification in a business related subject, I.E Payroll or Accountancy - CIPP, CCAB or AAT and have a minimum of 2 years experience at a supervisory level in a payroll function including: Providing specialist advice on payroll issues, using integrated payroll software systems.
  2. OR Minimum of 5 years experience working in a payroll setting within a medium to large location.
