Payroll Manager

Salary: 42k + Pension + 26 Days Holiday

About the Role:

As Payroll Manager you will play a vital role in managing the end–to–end payroll process for both weekly and monthly paid staff. You'll work closely with site managers, HR, and Finance to ensure everyone is paid accurately and on time – every time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Payroll Professionals
  • Process payroll from start to finish for weekly and monthly employees
  • Maintain and update employee records in line with compliance standards
  • Ensure accurate calculation of pay, deductions, holiday pay, and pensions
  • Respond to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies as required
  • Provide payroll reports and analysis to the finance team
  • Keep up to date with relevant payroll legislation and company policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in end–to–end payroll processing
  • Solid understanding of payroll legislation, RTI, and pension auto–enrolment
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple payrolls across various locations
