Job description

JOB TITLE: Payroll Manager
SALARY: £40,000
HOURS: Full Time - Permanent
STRUCTURE: Office Based
LOCATION: Hayes

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational efficiency.
  2. Ensure all salary disbursements are fully compliant with current employment legislation and regulatory standards.
  3. Maintain precise and up-to-date payroll records in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  4. Accurately process employee benefits, deductions, bonuses, and any necessary adjustments.
  5. Promptly investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
  6. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Prepare and deliver detailed payroll reports to management as needed.
  8. Work closely with clients to ensure accurate data and timely salary payments.
  9. Monitor payroll tax obligations and ensure all filings and payments are submitted on schedule.
  10. Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations regarding all payroll information.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Demonstrable experience in payroll management or a comparable role.
  2. In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, tax legislation, and regulatory compliance.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  4. Strong organisational skills paired with clear and effective communication abilities.
