What You Will Do:
  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including starters, leavers, bonuses, benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
  2. Ensure accuracy of employee records within Sage payroll, including personal details, pay rates, and deductions.
  3. Handle year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and HMRC submissions.
  4. Coordinate with external payroll providers in Europe and the USA for timely and accurate payroll processing.
  5. Line manage the Payroll Officer, providing guidance, training, and development support.
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency within payroll functions.
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven payroll experience in medium or large companies, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
  • Expertise in Sage Payroll systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HMRC UK tax legislation.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
