What You Will Do:

– Manage end–to–end payroll processing of monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, bonuses, benefits, holiday pay, and statutory payments.

– Ensure accuracy of employee records within Sage payroll, including personal details, pay rates, and deductions.

– Manage year–end process, including P60s, P11Ds, and HMRC submissions.

– Liaise with external payroll providers in Europe and the USA to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

– Line manage the Payroll Officer, providing guidance, training, and development support.

– Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency within the payroll function.

What You Will Bring:

– Proven payroll experience in a medium or large company, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

– Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.

– Expertise in Sage Payroll systems is essential.

– Comprehensive knowledge of HMRC UK tax legislation.

– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
