Job description

Hales Group is recruiting a Payroll Manager on behalf of a well-established client based in Lowestoft. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and long-standing business with deep roots in the local community.

Duties will include:

  • Handle payroll processing on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis for a wide range of clients.
  • Oversee statutory pay calculations, including sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and pension deductions
  • Ensure all payroll activities meet HMRC standards, including timely RTI filings and completion of year-end obligations
  • Communicate directly with clients to resolve payroll queries efficiently and professionally
  • Assist with pension auto-enrolment duties and keep pension scheme information current and compliant
  • Work alongside other departments to ensure payroll integrates seamlessly with overall financial operations
  • Help with broader finance tasks such as reconciling bank statements and processing invoices
To be considered for this Payroll Manager role, you must;
  • Experience in processing large volume payroll
